Dry Hydrant
A dry hydrant is designed for drawing firefighting water from a natural or artificial water source. It is a specially developed, non-pressurized, column-type fire hydrant that is directly connected to a non-pressurized water source (such as a pond, fire water reservoir, or underground fire water tank). Firefighting water is extracted from the hydrant using a fire pump through suction.
