Above-Ground Fire Hydrant

An above-ground, telescopic, insulated fire hydrant. The hydrants are certified and conform to the EN 14384:2005 standard.
The standard length of the hydrant is 1700–2000 mm from ground level to the center of the pipeline.
Although the applicable standard does not require protective covers for above-ground hydrants, we equip our above-ground fire hydrants with red PE plastic protective covers. Based on our experience, we believe that the above-ground parts of hydrants need protection against the highly aggressive corrosion caused by de-icing chemicals used on roads. The covers also improve visibility for road users and operators, and help prevent the accumulation of snow and ice on and around critical parts of the hydrant.
