Oil-sand separator (cast iron cover)
Specification
Oil-Sand Separator
Oil and petrol separators are used in places where oil or fuel might enter the water, such as:- Parking lots
- Car washes
- Repair shops
- First, sand and sludge are removed from the water using a special trap.
- Then, the water flows into the oil and petrol separator, where lighter oil and fuel particles are separated.
- After the separator, a sampling well is installed to check the water quality.
- If needed, an alarm system can be added to alert when the separator is full.
When treating water from very large areas (e.g. terminals, roads, large parking lots), bypass separators are used.
They are more cost-effective and well-suited for handling large volumes of water.
