Specification

PE100 Geothermal pipes pressure class PN10 SDR17, in coils

PE-100 Ground Source Heating Pipes are manufactured and certified according to the EN 12201 standard.
  • The dimensions are De 40 mm with a wall thickness of 2.4 mm.
  • Coil lengths: 200 m, 300 m, 400 m, and 500 m.
  • SDR 17, PN 10, and ring stiffness SN 17 kN/m².
The length of a single ground collector loop must not exceed 450 m. In case of deviations, hydraulic calculations must be performed. The hydraulic calculation must verify the total resistance of the ground collector system, and based on that, appropriate circulation pumps must be selected.
Ground pipe installation depth: 1 m ±20 cm
Minimum spacing between geothermal heating pipes: 1 m ±10 cm
If the heat pump has an integrated circulation pump, it performance characteristics must be taken into account. The total pressure loss of the ground collector system (including main pipeline, manifold chamber, ground loop, and indoor unit) must not exceed 100 kPa.
The system must include provisions for later filling of the ground loop, including necessary expansion and filling tanks, and pressure relief valves.
Establishing tall vegetation above the ground collector pipes is not recommended. After installation of the ground loop, excavation or drilling with machinery above the collector is not permitted!
