When choosing the size of a septic tank, it is important to consider the amount of wastewater that will pass through it. To ensure proper treatment efficiency, the sedimentation tank should have a capacity of 400–500 liters per person.2000 L septic tank – suitable for treating wastewater from a household of up to 5 people
3000 L septic tank – suitable for up to 7 people
5000 L septic tank – suitable for up to 10 people
These systems are intended for residential properties not connected to a public sewer system. Wastewater from the house is mechanically pre-treated in the septic tank and then infiltrated into the ground through a soil filter. The treatment process is environmentally friendly and requires no electricity.
To use the system, a permit must be obtained from the relevant water protection authority.
